1. The service

ClearCheck is a free, publicly accessible stolen device registry for device verification and stolen device reporting. By accessing or using clearcheck.tech, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be a resident of the Global or have a legitimate interest in devices located in Eswatini.
  • You must be 18 years of age or older to submit a report.
  • You must have a valid Eswatini phone number capable of receiving SMS messages.
  • By submitting a report, you confirm you are the lawful owner of the device.

3. Accounts & verification

ClearCheck uses phone-number-based identity verification. You will receive an OTP via SMS to verify your number. Your account is tied to your phone number and you are responsible for keeping it secure.

4. Reporting stolen devices

When submitting a report, you confirm that the device is genuinely stolen, you are the lawful owner, and all information provided is accurate. You will update the report if the device is recovered.

Submitting a false report may constitute a criminal offence under Eswatini law and may result in account suspension and referral to law enforcement.

5. Searching the registry

  • A "not found" result does not guarantee a device is not stolen — it means no report has been filed in this registry.
  • A "stolen" result is a serious warning. Do not purchase the device.
  • You will not use the search function to harvest data or scrape the registry.

6. Prohibited conduct

  • Submit false or fraudulent reports
  • Impersonate another person or use someone else's identity
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the platform
  • Attempt to compromise the platform's security
  • Use the platform to facilitate any criminal activity
  • Reproduce registry data for commercial purposes without written consent

7. Accuracy disclaimer

ClearCheck is a registry of self-reported information. We do not independently verify every report. Any decision made based on a search result is made at your own risk. ClearCheck is not a substitute for official police records.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Eswatini law, ClearCheck shall not be liable for any loss arising from reliance on search results, service interruptions, or unauthorised access where reasonable security precautions have been taken. The platform is provided "as is".

9. Suspension & termination

We reserve the right to suspend access without notice for users who submit false reports, abuse the search function, or violate these terms. Suspended accounts may be referred to law enforcement where criminal conduct is suspected.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Global. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Eswatini.

11. Changes to these terms
